West Orange, New Jersey
Susan Scarpa
For West Orange Mayor
Council President • Problem Solver • Your Neighbor
"I love West Orange. I grew up here. I raised my family here. This is home — and I'm running to protect it."
Take No Money – Owe No Favors
I'm not a career politician. I'm a mother and a speech therapist in our schools who has received two PASSE awards. I am a former business consultant who managed communications infrastructure for Wall Street trading floors. I'm getting involved because I see our town resources being mismanaged and our taxes increasing at an alarming rate.
The Plan as Mayor
Budget Control
A business-minded approach to spending. We can spend less and get more through a more efficient budget process.
Responsible Development
Ensure development serves our community — not outside interests or developer profits.
Safer Streets
Make our streets safer for children, seniors, and every family that calls West Orange home.
Senior Services
We can take care of all of our residents and leave no one behind. This does not have to be expensive — we just need to better utilize the resources we already have.
